“Alice in Borderland” follows the harrowing struggle of average people thrust unwillingly into a deadly series of games. Set in a deserted, alternate version of Tokyo, players are forced to compete for their lives and gain enough wins to save themselves from being executed. Following the events of season one, Ryohei Arisu and Yuzuha Usagi are fighting desperately to escape the games and hoping to return home.

“Alice in Borderland” is directed Shinsuke Sato, who also co-writes the series with Yoshiki Watabe and Yasuko Kuramitsu. Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya star as the two main protagonists. The show’s first season premiered in December 2020.
